IRI Insight: Department of Labor Announces Final Fiduciary Rule

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) issued in April its final fiduciary rule, which significantly expands the types of activities that would make someone a fiduciary under ERISA. In the summer edition of IRI Insight, experts discuss how the new rule will impact the way advisors serve clients on a day-to-day basis. Thomas Roberts from Groom Law Group breaks down the rule and explains what advisors should know.
