Greg A. Meier

Vice President, Strategist
Allianz Global Investors

Greg Meier is a strategist and a vice president with Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 1999. He is responsible for developing research and analysis for the firm’s investment professionals and Sales and Client Service teams, and for conveying the firm’s views to clients. Mr. Meier’s work focuses on global capital markets, macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy and retirement issues. He was previously a performance analyst and a financial writer with the firm. Mr. Meier has 15 years of investment industry experience. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Montana and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. 


Ryan Rugg

Director of Business Development

Ryan Rugg is a Director in R3’s lab and research center, spearheading North American business development focused on asset managers and the insurance industry.    Prior to R3 Ryan worked for Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan where she had extensive experience in financial services covering a broad range of institutions including; insurance, hedge funds, banks and asset managers. Ryan started her career in Technology at Lehman Brothers, experiencing firsthand the inefficiencies in the legacy infrastructure and looks forward to collaborating to solve these issues, she is double major in Computer Science and Finance.


Tim Harshbarger

Vice President, Operations

Prior to joining Focus 3 in February 2015, Tim served in senior leadership roles at three large publicly traded companies (American Electric Power, Huntington Bank and Pike Corporation).

Tim understands that success as a leader requires the development of skills that go well beyond technical competence. He brings a passion for developing leaders at all levels while working with leadership teams to create and sustain high performing cultures.

His operational background combined with his knowledge and experience in talent management enables him to quickly establish high impact relationships and serve as an effective coach to senior leaders and their teams.

Tim completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and later obtained his MBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business.
